The neural reflex which is initiated by the food in the stomach and also determine what it controls.
Concept introduction:
The stomach is present just below the diaphragm and in the upper left region of the abdomen. Stomach mixes the ingested food with gastric secretions and digests the food into semi-fluid chime. The gastric glands are under the regulation of three types of reflexes: cephalic, gastric and intestinal reflex.
