There are two main types of behaviors exhibited by animals. One is innate behavior and is not affected much by external stimuli or the environment. The other is called learned behavior and occurs when animals learn a certain behavior by encountering specific stimuli. Thus, learned behavior evolves as an animal interacts more with the associated stimuli and may get influenced by the physical and social environment.
