Summary Introduction
To determine: The age of fossils by explaining the concepts of radiometric dating and half-life and the types of rocks analyzed.
Introduction: Sedimentary rocks are formed from particles of older rocks broken apart by water or wind. The particles may be in the form of gravel, sand or mud. These particles subsequently settle and bury the living and dead organisms at the bottom of rivers, lakes and oceans. Eventually, the sediments at the bottom of the pile become rock.

embryo, or embryology, as evidence for evolution. The
embryos of most vertebrates look very similar and have similar structures. For example, fish, bird, rabbit, and human embryos are similar in appearance in early stages. They all have gill slits and a tail with muscles to move it. Later as the embryos develop, they become less and less similar.
