Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation: Stereoisomers formed when $\text{trans-hex-3-ene}$ is treated with ${\text{CH}}_{\text{2}}{\text{I}}_{\text{2}}$ and $\text{Zn}\left(\text{Cu}\right)$ are to be predicted.

Concept introduction: Nonhalogenated cyclopropanes can be prepared by the reaction of alkene with organozinc carbenoid. The reaction is known as Simmons-Smith reaction. The relative position of substituents of the alkene is preserved and stereospecific products are formed.
