Introduction:
The harmless growth of human papillomaviruses (HPVs) on the epithelium of skin of genitalia, knees, elbows, feet, hands, trunk or face causes warts or papillomas. The growth of HPVs on genitalia causes genital warts. Genital warts can also be caused by the growth of viruses near anus, rectum, penis or vagina. The viruses might enter mucous membrane of genitals during sexual intercourse.
