Trichomoniasis is a protozoan infection caused by Trichomoniasis vaginalis. Its incubation period is 4 to 28 days. Symptoms in females include vaginal irritation, yellow-green discharge from the vagina, dysuria, and can possibly spot bleeding. Sexually active individuals are more prone to trichomoniasis.
