The direction of the magnetic field relative to the plane of the coil.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
When a coil carrying current is placed in a magnetic field, the magnetic field generated due to current and the external field interact and magnetic force causes the coil to rotate.
The right-hand rule can be used to determine the direction of the field produced by the coil. The magnetic field would be perpendicular to the coil’s plane. The field in the room would be in the same direction as well.
