Introduction:
A magnet is a substance which attracts other magnetic materials. A magnet has two poles-North pole and south pole. Magnetic field lines emerge from north pole and enters in south pole.
A magnetic monopole refers to a separate north or south pole. It is hypothetical and does not exist in reality. Thus, by breaking a magnet into two pieces would not yield separate north pole and south pole. The ends of the broken piece would again be north and south pole.
Conclusion:
Thus, north pole and south pole cannot be isolated by breaking the magnetic into two pieces.
