Concept Introduction:

Replication of dna requires an origin of replication which held responsible for initiation of replication. According to chargaff rule number of guanine present in a polynucleic acid is equivalent to number of cytosine present while number of adenine present in a polynucleic acid must be equivalent to number of thymine present and during unwinding bond between bases broken down to create fork like structure.
