Summary Introduction

Introduction:

During respiration, oxygen is utilized by the body cells to oxidize food and carbon dioxide ( CO2 ) is generated in the process. Both the oxygen and carbon dioxide circulating in the blood and is transported through it. The CO2 released by the cells, as a waste product, is transported to the lungs from where it gets released into the atmosphere through the nostrils.
