Concept introduction:
The molecules present in water forms hydrogen bonding with each other. This hydrogen bonding becomes stronger when water is converted into ice. The ice is formed by the bonding (stronger) and behaves like a crystal. This is seen in ponds in winters when the ice floats over the water.
