Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

Separation procedure of neutral molecules by micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography has to be explained. Why this is a form of chromatography that also has to be explained.

Concept Introduction:

Micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography, surfactants are added to the buffer solution above the critical micellar concentration of that surfactant as a result of this micelles formation has taken place. These micelles are behaved as a pseudo stationary phase and separation of neutral molecules in presence of electric field is based on the equilibrium of neutral molecules between the solution and the pseudo stationary phase.
