Introduction:
In vertebrates lymphatic system is a one-way system which carries cell and fluid back to blood system. The lymphatic system is a subsystem of circulatory system. It consists of tissues, organs and complex network of vessels. The major role of lymphatic system is to maintain fluid balance in the body. It collects particulate matter and excess fluid from tissues and releases out in the bloodstream. It also provides disease-fighting cells lymphocytes that help body to defend itself against infection.
