Explanation of Solution

Type of tissue functionType of cells
Meristem tissueMeristem tissue helps in primary growth of plants.Made up of rapidly dividing cells.
Ground tissueProvide support and stores the product of photosynthesis.Made up of three plant cells parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma.
Dermal tissueProvides cover and protection to the plant. Secretes waxy substance called cuticle which helps in protection of plant.Made up of epidermal cells
Vascular tissueHelps in transportation of water, food and other dissolved substances in plants.Xylem- xylem tracheids, xylem vessel, xylem sclerenchyma, xylem parenchyma.

Phloem- sieve tube, companion cell, phloem fibre, phloem parenchyma.
