There are four types of nucleotide, which forms the complete RNA (ribonucleic acid). These nucleic acids are adenine, guanine, cytosine and Uracil. The adenine and guanine are the purine bases, they have double ringed structure. The uracil and cytosine have single ringed structure, they are pyrimidines.
