The characteristics of germinal centers in lymph nodes.
Introduction:
Germinal centers in lymph nodes are found next to the lymphoid follicles. They are a part of the cortex and are closer to the afferent lymphatic vessels. All infiltrating pathogens are cleared by the network of phagocytes of both B (bone marrow) and T (thymic) lymphocytes present in various divisions of the lymph nodes.
