Introduction:
Lymphoid organs are associated with the task of collection and filtration of lymph from foreign bodies. The spleen is a secondary lymphoid organ. It is made up of two parts, namely white pulp and the red pulp. It carries out both the immune functions as well as the function of clearing worn-out erythrocytes.
