Introduction:
The lymphatic system collects the lymph throughout the body and drains it into the blood circulation again. The lymph is filtered in the lymph nodes prior to its draining in order to check the presence of foreign bodies. There are various structures of the lymphatic system that serve as the sites of action and development of the immune cells.
