Ecological facts about fungi:

1. Fungi plays a pivotal part in balancing the biological systems.
2. They colonize most living spaces on earth, inclining toward dull, damp conditions.
3. They can flourish in apparently antagonistic conditions, for example, the tundra.
4. They are the known as decomposer and degrade even large molecules because of their nutrition.
