Introduction:

The DNA or genetic content of an organism essentially depicts everything about that organism. It carries all the information needed to make that organism function. Various techniques can be used to further analyze the DNA and give us information about that particular organism that might be of biological relevance and may not be available through other studies.

Dinosaur DNA might be extremely difficult to extract because they disappeared millions of years ago and that would cause the integrity of the DNA to degrade. It is quite likely that the DNA of dinosaurs found might be fragmented. Even if the intact DNA is found, it would be difficult to prove that it is from a dinosaur. Thus, if one successfully manages to get dinosaur DNA that can be analyzed, a number of techniques can be used on it in order to answer a lot of evolutionary questions.
