Interpretation: The products that result by the reaction of fenfluramine and phentermine with acetic acid are to be drawn.
Concept introduction: A reaction in which an acid donates a proton while base accepts a proton is known as an acid-base reaction. These reactions involve the transfer of a proton from an acid to a base.
According to Bronsted-Lowry theory, when an acid donates a proton the species formed is known as conjugate base and when the base accepts a proton the species formed is known as conjugate acid.
