A supermarket is doing a sales promotion for soft drinks. If one day you buy soft drinks and bring the empty bottles the next day, they exchange each set of K empty bottles for a full one. A customer wants to make the most of this offer and therefore bought several bottles on the first day of the promotion. Now he wants to know how many bottles he will have at the end of the second day of the promotion if he use it to the fullest.
Make a program to calculate this.
Input
The first input line contains integer T (1 ≤ T ≤ 10000), which indicates the number of test cases. In each of the following T lines come two integers N and K (1 ≤ K, N ≤ 10000), respectively the number of soft drinks bought and the number of empty bottles to gain a full.
Output
For each test case print the number of bottles that the customer will have on the second day, if he makes the most of the offer.

- f. A laborant in a laboratory does a number of antigen tests in one day. Write a program that simulates the number of antigen tests done in a day in a laboratory, displays the number of positives and negatives, and calculates the % of positives in one day. Your program needs to first generate a random number that will show the number of tests done in a day. One laboratory in a day cannot do more than 100 tests and less than 1 (they do at least one). Then for each of the tests, your program needs to generate a random number to show whether they are positive or negative. In order to write this program, you need to have the following three functions used by the main function: test result (void): This function generates a test result. It should randomly return either one or zero. 1 means positive test result and 0 means negative test result. float positive percentage (int, int) : This function takes the total number of positives and the total number of tests and returns the % of positives.…arrow_forwardkindly change the program following the procedure on the problem. please list the changes you have made on the program t..thank youarrow_forwardkindly change the program following the procedure on the problem. please list the changes you have made on the program t..thank youarrow_forward
- Write a program that computes the earnings per shift for a babysitter. A babysitter charges $10 per hour before noon and $15 after noon. The program reads the starting time in hours and minutes and the ending time in hours and minutes. All times are between 8:00 am, and 7:59 pm, using a 12-hour clock. For example, you should consider hour 8 as 8 am and hour 6 as 6pm. The program should check the validity of the inputs as follows. 1) Hours are from 0-11 (0 for noon). 2) Minutes are from 0-59. 3) The start time must be before noon. 4) The end time must not be before 1pm. The program should display specific warnings regarding the above when the user submits invalid input; the program should prompt the user to re-enter the times again. The program should output the total hours worked and the total earnings per shift. Example: >9h 20m to 6h 15m You have worked 8 hours and 55 minutes in this shift, earning $120.417 Important Notes: Please do this in C++ Programming Do not use any…arrow_forwardHelp Me With C Programming. At Lili's birthday party, there is a game arranged by Jojo as the host. The game is handing out a number of Y candies to a number of X people where all the sweets taste sweet except for the last one candy that tastes like rotten beans. The distribution of sweets will be sequential starting from position Z and if it passes the last position then the distribution of candy continues to the first position. Write down the person in the position of who will get the last candy. Format Input The first line of input is T, which is the number of test cases. The second row and the next number of T lines are X, Y, Z. X is the number of people who will be handed out candy. Y is the number of candies available. Z is the initial position of the person who will be handed out the candy. Write a program that simulates a coin-tossing game. At the beginning of the game, each of N players has a single fair coin and M points. The game performs a sequence of passes until only a minimum number of players remain. In a pass the players toss their coins into the air and when the coins fall to earth, the players count the number of coins that show heads and the number of coins that show tails. If the number of heads exceed the number of tails, then the players who tossed heads increase their points by an integer P and the players who tossed tails decrease their points by the same integer P. The players perform the opposite actions when the number of tails is greater than the number of heads. If the number of heads equals the number of tails, then no player’s points change. If any player’s points fall below one, then the player leaves the game, never to return. The game employs a second integer K to compute P’s value. K’s and P’s initial values are one.…arrow_forward
- How do I write this java program? The manatees have been streaming many movies over the course of the last year. You have been asked to determine the movie they think will win "Best Aquatic Feature Film." For your convenience, the movies are numbered (1 <= N <= 50,000) and the actual titles of the movies are not important. The manatees have voted in two rounds, and number of votes received for each movie is recorded. As many as 109109 manatees world-wide may vote. The K (1<=K<=N) movies with the most votes in the first round will advance to the second round. The winner is the movie with largest vote total in the second round. Ties are broken in both cases by picking the movie with the higher index number. Determine which movie comes in first place and which movie comes in last place in the second round. Input format All the input comes from the standard input stream. The program asks the user to input the number of camels, and then the zakat is calculated based on the following table: Rule for computing the zakat of 121 camels or more: You need to find the combinations of 40 camels and 50 camels that will minimize the number of “left over” camels not being “counted” in the zakat. For example, for 130 camels, we have (2*40) + (1*50)=130, with no left overs, and hence, the zakat consists of 2 bint Laboun and 1 Hiqqah. When we have 145 camels, we have the following scenarios: 1. (140) + (250) = 140 with 5 camels left over, 2. (240) + (150) = 130 with 15 camels left over, 3. (340) + (050) = 120 with 25 camels left over. Therefore, in this case the zakat is 1 bint Laboun and 2 Hiqqah, following the first scenario. Important Notes: Make sure that the input value is a positive integer. If not, the program must print the following message: Wrong input. Number should be an…arrow_forwardJava - Simple Statisticsarrow_forward
- Using Java to, write a program that asks the user for survey data about bus riders, and outputs a summary of that data. Your program should first ask the user which bus line was surveyed. Then the program asks the user how many days the survey was conducted, storing an integer answer, and then enter the number of riders that were counted (also an int). Take the number of riders devided by number of days. [If that average is not a whole number, make sure you show the decimal value (such as in the examples below). You should use a type cast to make this work. Please use "printf" to display the result with 2 digits after the decimal point (rounded to the nearest hundredth) and commas separating thousands.]arrow_forwardThe Research team led by Bernadette Wolowitz at Cal-tech University has discovered a new Amoeba that grows in the order of a Fibonacci series every month. You will implement a variant of the number guessing game we played in lecture. In this variant, you will ask the user to guess the price of a $42,500 car. Let's assume that the player knows the price of the car is rounded to the nearest $500. If a player's guess is not exactly correct, your program will tell them they are either too high or too low. The player will get as many guesses as they need to guess the price of the $42,500 car. However they will only win the game if they used 5 or fewer guesses. Here are two examples of how the program should work for both cases: Guess the price and win the prize! Enter your guess:50000 Too high! Enter your guess:40000 Too low!
