The tendency of species, which is oxidized or reduced to gain or loss of electrons in the half cell reactions in standard state is known as standard electrode potential.
The tendency of species, which is oxidized to gain electron in the reduction half cell reaction in standard state is known as standard reduction potential.
The standard reduction potential is high means the species get reduces faster than lower standard reduction potential containing species therefore, the than lower standard reduction potential containing species is oxidised by higher standard reduction potential species.
