Introduction:
The cardiac cycle is a rhythm that is termed by the duration of one heartbeat to the other beat. A typical heartbeat consists of two stages, namely diastole and systole. Heart muscles to relax and its chambers to be filled with blood are termed as diastole, and this beat makes the “lub” sound. Contraction of heart muscles and ejection of blood by the chambers of the heart are termed as systole, and this makes the “dub” sound of the heartbeat.
