No, the energy supplied by the battery is not completely stored in the capacitor; some part of the energy gets wasted in the form of heat, while passing through the resistance.
Explanation of Solution
When energy is supplied in the RC circuit, most of the part of energy is used in charging the capacitor, while some part of the energy is wasted in the form of heat across the resistor. As resistor is an element which opposes the flow of current, and to overcome this resistance some part of energy is wasted.
