Introduction:
ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is an assay used to detect enzyme-labeled antibody bound to antigen. Usually, horseradish peroxidase is used to label the antibody. Fluorescence-activated cell sorter (FACS) is used to separate and determine the concentration of fluorescent-antibody-labeled-cells. Usually, it is used to diagnose diseases related to white blood cells. Fluorescent antibody (FA) tests are used to detect antibodies that are fluorescently labeled and are bound to antigens. Western blotting uses various techniques to detect antibodies that are labeled and bound to the proteins which have been already separated according to their sizes.
