Question
Chapter 18, Problem 33RA
Summary Introduction
To review:
The functional adaptations of the alimentary tract in order to increase its efficiency.
Introduction:
The alimentary canal is the channel or the tract through which food travels in the body during digestion and absorption of food. Mouth, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine are the main organs of the alimentary canal. The breakdown of complex food molecules into smaller molecules occurs in the alimentary canal.
