Summary Introduction

Introduction: Documents can be altered by erasures and overwriting. Writing with the different ink other than the original makes a document questionable. Different alterations in the original document can be analyzed for forensic investigation. The criminalists analyze handwriting patterns, typescripts, use of different inks, or intended writing by using microscopy, photography, and other analytical techniques.
