Introduction:

Taxonomy is the formal system for organizing, classifying and naming living organisms. There are several taxonomic categories called taxa, that assist in classification, identification and nomenclature of all living organisms. The naming of living organisms follows a specific set of rules in order to maintain uniformity across the globe.
