Introduction:

In nature, the programmed gene arrangements are used to alter the copy number of a gene by deletion or gene amplification. This is either carried out to create diversity by reasserting the gene segments in the formation of immunoglobulin genes or to control the expression of the genes which codes for the same functions such as the surface antigens. One type of DNA rearrangement results in the creation of new genes from the gene fragments which is located at various positions in the genome. Another type results in a switch in the expression of genes as a result of DNA copying event or recombination.
