The importance of buffer solution is that it is able to maintain the pH of the solution neutral and stable by neutralising small amounts of acid or bases added to it. The buffer solution is important in maintaining a relatively constant pH in a solution.
Explanation of Solution
A buffer solution is the solution which resist pH change when the small amount of base and acid are added to it. Buffers are used to keep bloodstream at the 7.4 pH and buffers are also used in shampoos to balance out the alkaline nature.
