To describe: The general structure of a sensory receptors, and explain the significance of a receptive field.

Concept introduction: The sensory receptors are the nerves which are stimulated by a physical stimulus and they create a nerve impulse to send information to the brain. Sensory receptors may be simple like touch receptors or complex like sensory organs.
