Pressure
Medical term that uses it or a slight variation of it:
Baroflex
Explanation of Solution
For example, the term “baroflex” can be used in the context of pressure feedback mechanism exerted by the autonomic nervous system. This terminology indicates a pressure; stimuli-based increase or decrease in blood pumping system by the heart. When there is an increase in blood pressure, the baroreceptors in brains detect the pressure change and send reflex actions to heart muscles, thereby decreasing the heartbeat rate and blood flow. In the mean time, when there is a decrease in blood pressure, a negative feedback mechanism is exerted which increases the heartbeat rate and blood flow.
