What is self awareness?
Self-awareness is the first component of emotional intelligence—which makes sense when one considers that the Delphic oracle gave the advice to “know thyself” thousands of years ago. Self-awareness means having a deep understanding of one’s emotions, strengths, weaknesses, needs, and drives. People with strong selfawareness are neither overly critical nor unrealistically hopeful. Rather, they are honest—with themselves and with others.
It is more likely that extroverts may be drawn to a career in selling, due to their outgoing personality. On the other hand, science has proven introverts, who are reserved in nature, and tend to avoid social interactions may also do just as well in sales careers. Based on this, expand and explain how and why introverts can do just as well in a sales career.
