Microorganisms play a major role for all living beings. They are microscopic in nature and found in air, water, and soil. They have both beneficial (nutrition and fermentation) and harmful (diseases) roles. They are also involved in the fermentation process using enzymatic action and also improve the digestion ability of humans and animals.
