Introduction:

A fetus is exposed to microbes in the uterus and a newborn also gets several microbes during the birth. The microbes are acquired from vagina and birth canal. as the child grows, the mother-child relation also leads to incorporation of several species of microbes in the child during 8 – 12 months.
