If any event A does not affect the outcome of an event B, then event A and B are independent whereas if it affects then the events are dependent.

Here we can determine that the events are independent.

Now the probability that the employee went on vacation is, $\frac{8}{10}=\frac{4}{5}$

Now the probability that all 3 employees went on vacation is,

  $P=\frac{4}{5}\times \frac{4}{5}\times \frac{4}{5}=\frac{64}{125}$
