Introduction:
Neurotransmitters are the chemical molecules responsible for the transmission of signals between two neurons. It is synthesized in the presynaptic neuron and gets stored in the vesicles at the axon terminal. When a signal of the optimum threshold is received, the neurotransmitters are released into the synaptic cleft.
