Introduction:
Photosynthesis is a biochemical process in which carbon dioxide and water react to yield glucose and oxygen in the presence of sunlight. Light energy is converted into chemical energy. An action spectrum is a graph of the rate of photosynthesis versus the wavelength of light for different pigments. It is used to study the maximum photosynthesis that occurs at any wavelength.
