William Hancock, 44 year old male, was travelling in a bus that met with an accident. When the emergency personnel arrived, he was found unconscious, and the vital signs were stable. He was placed on a backboard, and his neck, head, and back was stablished. The paramedics noticed that water blood was escaping from his right ear.

In the hospital, he gained consciousness, and was treated for deep lacerations on his head and face. The scans showed both, longitudinal and transverse fracture of right petrous temporal and sphenoid bones, which moves through the foramen rotundum as well as the foramen ovale.
