Summary Introduction

Introduction:

DNA polymerases synthesize DNA molecules. DNA polymerase enzyme uses a single stranded DNA molecule as a template and causes the formation of another strand. They are essential for DNA replication and act to form two identical strands of DNA from one parent strand of DNA. DNA polymerase “reads” the parent strand to make new strands which can match with the parent strand.
