Introduction:

The ear is an external organ which functions as the hearing. The ear also helps in maintaining the sense of balance or equilibrium. The vestibular membrane which is present in the inner ear that helps in balancing the sound waves that enter the ear. The sense of equilibrium is of two types:static equilibrium and dynamic equilibrium.
