Introduction:
The sensation of equilibrium is received by the inner ear, the vestibular apparatus concerned with posture and balances. The auditory apparatus is penetrated by the cochlear nerve, and the vestibular apparatus is penetrated by the vestibular nerve. The two nerves are collectively known as the vestibulocochlear nerve. The body balance is maintained by sensing the static equilibrium and dynamic equilibrium.
