Introduction:

Muscle contraction can be defined as the activation of tension-causing sites within the muscle fibers. A muscle twitch can be defined as an involuntary contraction of the muscle fibers which forms a muscle. Nerves regulate the muscle fibers. When a nerve is stimulated or damaged by something, then it results in the contraction of muscle fibers. It causes muscle twitch. A person can usually feel such twitches below the skin.
