It is a system to judge the statements on the basis of logic. The basic idea is to assume the given data to be true and what is not given to be false.
It works on the basis of two conditions:
- When the complete knowledge is given.
- When the knowledge is incomplete but a certain conclusion can be drawn from that incomplete knowledge.
