Chlamydia is a bacterial disease transmitted by means of sexual relationships. The causative agent of chlamydia is Chlamydia trachomatis. It causes infection in both women and men. Women harbor Chlamydia in the rectum, throat and cervix. Men can harbor chlamydia in the urethra, throat, and rectum.
