Chapter 11, Problem 43QP
Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

Difference between a saturated and an unsaturated solution is to be interpreted.

Concept Introduction:

Solubility is the property of a substance in its solid, liquid or gaseous state called the solute to dissolve in a liquid (also in solid or gas) called the solvent. A solute dissolved in a solvent gives a solution. The amount of solute dissolvable in a solvent depends on the structure, temperature, and pressure of the solute and the attractive force between the solute and solvent. A solution can be defined as saturated or unsaturated depending upon the amount of solute dissolved in the solution.
