Introduction:

A neuron is a structural and functional unit of the nervous system. It receives the electrical signal and converts them into an action potential and transmits it to other cells. The neurons are classified into three types on basis of their functions. These three neurons are sensory neuron, mixed neuron, and motor neuron.
