Concept Introduction:The constitutional isomers are those which have same molecular formula but different structural formulas due to different arrangement of atoms.
The boiling point of any compound is inversely proportional to its surface area. More the surface area less will be the boiling point. The linear structure always has more surface area than a branched structure.
