Interpretation:

The term $I_{\text{abs}}\left(\tilde{v}\right)$ has to be expressed in term of $I_0\left(\tilde{v}\right)$, $\left[\text{J}\right]$, $L$ and $\epsilon \left(\tilde{v}\right)$.

Concept introduction:

The Beer-Lambert law states that the intensity of light absorbed by a solution is directly proportional to the concentration of the solution and the path length of that the light has to travel in the solution.  The mathematical expression for Beer-Lambert law is given below.

    $A=\epsilon cL$

The florescence intensity is proportional to the term $I_0\left(\tilde{v}\right)\epsilon \left(\tilde{v}\right){\varphi }_{\text{f}}\left[\text{J}\right]L$ has to be shown.
